Costas A Joannou
The CAJ Group is controlled by its founder Costas A Joannou who is also the Chairman and CEO. Costas’s entrepreneurial career commenced at the age of 10 when he commenced running his own summer fruit stall, in a small village in his home town Kyrenia in Cyprus. In 1977, he came to London to study and obtained a BSc (hons) in Management Science from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Accounting from the University of South Wales and is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He started his career with a small firm of Chartered Accountants in the West End of London and he then moved on to become the Chief Internal Auditor of the Commercial Bank of London Plc ( now Alpha Bank London ), which was then listed on the London Stock Exchange. Costas has also been a member of the Baltic Exchange for many years and has travelled extensively in many parts of the world.

 
Shalina R Joannou
Shalina, having finished the secondary school in Mauritius, she came to London to further her studies. After she has attended a number of courses in the Retail Sector, she was appointed as a Stock Controller at Burberrys. She subsequently moved into PR where she spent four years dealing mainly with Lord Hanson. Since 1999 she has been in Payroll Services and she has attended many courses organised by Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs. Shalina is fluent in English, French and Creole.

 
Andrea Georgiou
Andrea, after graduating from Queen Mary’s University with a BA in English has been involved with the administration of The CAJ Group. At the same time she pursues her ballroom dancing career. Andrea has travelled extensively in many parts of the world and apart from English she also speaks French, Greek and a bit of German.

 
Panayiota Joannou
Panayiota, a Criminologist by profession, with both a Bachelor and Masters degrees is currently pursing her own career in a Government controlled primary school. She has worked in a children’s holiday camp in the US and she has travelled extensively in many parts of the world. Apart from English, Panayiota speaks Greek and French.
